Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, CSIR – National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi has invited applications for the recruitment of Technical Assistant, Scientist vacancies on Direct Recruitment basis. Age Limit: Candidates age should be 28 years for Post 1, 32 years for Post 2as on 17-01-2017. Age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC candidates as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess 1st class Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering/ Tech /Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Tech/ Civil Engineering/ Tech for Post 1, M.E / M. Tech (Electrical Engineering/ Power Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control/ Applied Physics/ Applied Optics / Instrumentation/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation & Control/ Mechanical Engineering/ Networking/ Advance Networking/ Computer Application/ Computer Science/ IT or B.Tech / M.Sc with PG degree in Intellectual Property Law Or Ph.D. submitted in relevant discipline for Post 2 with relevant experience.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on written test/ trade test/ skill test for the posts of Technical Assistants & written test/ interview for the posts of Scientists.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.100/- by crossed Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of “Director, National Physical Laboratory” payable at New Delhi.
